H.I.M. Screamworks Print

The H.I.M. album has dropped and all the posters we printed for this have been shipped. Around September of last year we got a call from Matt Taylor over at Varnish Studios about helping create natural printing flaws for the cover of the new H.I.M. album. We were stoked about the project because it was a great break from the daily routine. While in the studio we basically did our best to destroy the print. Layering multiple colors, spraying with water, etc. You can check out a montage of those here…

Then in early December we got a call from WB about possibly printing the cover image as a print. Well hell yeah we would. It was a chance to really collaborate and to become a part of the image. It was also a project that helped us think outside the box as a printer. We basically created 5000 monotype prints. Each one of the first layers are slightly different. We got to mix ink, spray water, create textures etc.

Art and antics in Santa Ana TONIGHT!

A bunch of our buddies are part of a group show TONIGHT at GCS Gallery. President’s Precedence features art from: Adam Hathorn, Neko, David Flores ATC, SPR FKR, EUTH, and many more! Everyone should come down and check it out. The opening reception is tonight from 7-11pm. The show will run til the 28th of Feb. The line up looks pretty good and is sure to please!

Finally our sites is up and running to a usable capacity! Thanks to everyone who is checking back to see whats new, and welcome to all newcomers. After months of toiling and struggling under the evil wizards curse (see question 2 on the F.A.Q. page) we finally have a website! … It’s quite a surreal feeling actually…
