If you happen to be in DTLA this weekend, come by the brewery. They are having their annual “Art Walk” and we will be showing off some NEW fine art pieces and a selection of prints. Also our brothers at CB will be showcasing new release and debuting their new micro brew!!

Recently we had some original pieces in a Show called “I am 8bit.” I am 8bit is the ORIGINAL video game themed art extravaganza, and they made a tremendous comeback this year. We were honored to be a part of the show. Our pieces were the four ghosts from pac man, Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde. If you love posters, it’s likely you love Flatstock. In case you don’t know, the American Poster Institute, in conjunction with music festivals all over the country, team up and throw a huge Rock Poster fair. All the best poster artist come out from their holes and share their wares with the world at large. Mike recently went to Seatle for Flatstock 31. Here are a few of his snapshots.

Whats better than a Z-trip show? Z-trip with De La Soul! And how do you make that better? You add a dash of Nosaj Thing, and a sprinkle of Daddy Kev. A music show hasn’t sounded this good since your dad wore bell bottoms and ran around shirtless in the mud!
This poster is 3 colors (Wood Brown, Gold, Metallic Blue) on 100# Cougar Natural Cover. A nice even edition of 88, signed and numbered by a couple of rabbits in sunny Los Angeles.

The Black Lips… Let me be frank, these dudes rock the freakin’ house! These guys know how to have a good time, that’s for sure, so we decided to have a good time with their poster. The first color, yellow, is hand rolled onto the paper using a lino ink roller. The purple and black layers we printed by hand, then the Red type we stenciled on each poster with spray paint.
Limited edition of 50, approximately 20 x 15 on white coverstock.

We got a great chance to make a poster for a hyper iconic band, DURAN DURAN! So naturally we said, “yeah, we can do that.” A little known fact about the rabbits is we think Duran Duran kicks ass… so we put all our carrots asaide and devoted all our bunny time and energy on this bad as poster.
